This book just squeez the blood out of my heart millions times from beginning till end. So painfully beautiful, very captivated, highly angsty, emotional, brutally intense, make you angry to the point that you want to kill someone well not someone but some certain characters in this book.
I Loved the main characters in this book alot specifically Bea Norwood as the whole story solely was about her. She was the core of the story. I was totally empathise with her what she had to gone through. By reading the pain she endure made my heart bleed for her . I feel her whenever she was emotionally distressed.
I know many of you who read this would have think that why didn’t she take any stand for her against all the brutal acts she has to endure . So let me tell you when you are being torture after torture and when your dignity ,your respect and your body crushed again and again then it will only push you towards self destruction, and you started to shut down from your surrounding and society, and that only left you impossible to repair, and you lose the strength by every passing day. Sometime you don’t take step for the sake of your love one’s happiness. And for their security, so I totally understand Bea and her psychological trauma , that left her broken, scared, and damaged to do anything, because if the only hope in your life left you then there isn’t left anything in you and make you dead alive like her.
The ray of hope shone again in her life when she saw love of her life Liam Gunner
again after years that awoken her dead organ beat again and spark those sensation again which she has forgot to feel.
He came in her life like a saviour. Like a knight in shining armour.
Their love story were so cute when they were teenager and it become even so adorable when they grownup.
IF I describe Bea in words then she is..
INNOCENT (She is literally a true example of Innocence .)

Resilient
Brave and courageous.
And survivor.

Strong an Alpha male
Major league Baseball player
Famous and rich
But his heart only beat for the girl who took his heart even when they were kids
Will go any length to save the love of his life.
There is only one thing that stoped me to give it 5 star is bea’s shit of a Mother and Jenny(Connor’s girlfriend)
I mean how come you couldn’t realise the changes occur in your own daughter who used to be full of love and life and suddenly she started to shutdown. Even a dumbest person can tell that there is a big sign that something happening very wrong. Even after she commit suicide. She was so oblivious that she couldn’t notice her daughter demeanour. Just left her to rotten on her own and left for the tours around the world to enjoy her life with her husband. She could have help her daughter but she just blindfolded by her own happiness.
Same goes with Jenny how come she unseen the pain and injury which were sometimes very visible. And couldn’t see what’s happening while living under the same roof . though time an again Bea wished if the people around her took notice but Poor Bea.
I want to hug her , love her, care her and want to take her pain away. Only the people who noticed and wanted to help her but Bea just shut them out of her life and never opened up so they can rescue her. And when she let them in they truly proved themselves by rescuing her , protect her and love her.
Over all it was the Best read. Written very beautifully and in detailed.
Highly recommended to those who love angsty , emotional and slow burn kind of Romance, very disturbing and BRUTLE but with HEA.
